1. Journeyman Linemen
Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Union | Local & Regional Travel
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience per diem. Call for current pay rates and details.
Our normal schedule is 4 days per week, year-round. When storm work comes up, schedules can change to 7 days a week depending on the storm, location, and workload.
Storm work is paid at a different rate than our regular home/local rate. Storm rates vary by storm assignment.
We are a non-union company providing steady year-round work, with opportunities for local, regional, and storm work.

Roles & Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Foreman

Completes installation of products and services
-
Resolves and troubleshoots issues
-
Prioritizes, organizes and efficiently completes tasks to meet deadlines
-
Travels to various client sites, overnight stays as needed
-
Navigates a variety of terrains managing tools and equipment
-
Works well independently and in collaboration with others
-
Strives to provide the best customer experience every day
-
Be willing to mentor other team members and promote a positive work culture
-

Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL required
-
Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-
Ability to learn and operate testing equipment and software/programs
-
Ability to utilize hand tools, identify wire size/color and accurately utilize measuring devices
-
Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (30 feet high and 75 pounds)
-
Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 75% of the time
-
Ability to build 3-phase, single-phase powerlines, and transformer banks
-
Ability to safely work and navigate various terrains, managing equipment, safety equipment and tools

Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
